Kim Stoker has over ten years of professional editing experience. She specializes in academic writing and works of literature, poetry in particular. She earned an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University, an MA in Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii, and a BA in studio art and English literature from the University of Mary Washington. She was an editor for the trade magazine Korean Literature Now from its inception in 2008 to 2017 and has worked extensively with the Literature Translation Institute of Korea, editing literary works of all genres, including subtitles for film and animation. After living and teaching in Seoul, Korea for almost two decades, she recently returned stateside where she’s currently working on her first collection of poetry.
